Zinc oxide is an inorganic substance, an oxide of zinc. Insoluble in water, soluble in acid and strong alkali. Zinc oxide is a common chemical additive used in the production of plastics, silicate products, synthetic rubber, lubricating oil, paint coatings, adhesives, food, batteries and other products.

1. Mainly used as reinforcing agent and active agent in rubber or cable industry, also as coloring agent and filler of white glue, as vulcanizing agent in neoprene rubber, etc.

 2. Used for fine desulfurization of raw gas in chemical fertilizer industry
